Relationship leading to Design-Build Retail Project
A key relationship in Vermillion, SD led to the successful completion of an 80,000 square foot retail facility for Runnings. Knowing the expertise of Fiegen Construction’s Design/Build delivery, our team led a fast-paced project from start to finish. Working closely with the City of Vermillion, we were able to expedite new roads, owner occupancy, and other typically lengthier manners in a way that suited our clients needs.
The structure for this facility was a Butler Pre-Engineered Metal Building, with its MR-24 roof, Shadowall siding, custom trim, and Nichiha Illumination panels at the front entry. The mechanical and electrical systems for this project were also design/build in order to expedite an already tight owner’s schedule. Along with its large retail floor, the other ancillary program space included public restrooms, a break room, offices, and back-of-house storage with loading docks.
