The Sioux Falls City Power, Light & Traffic Facility will consolidate the City's Power, Light and Traffic departments into a single operations center. Fiegen Construction was selected as the Construction Manager by the City of Sioux Falls from more than a dozen invited contractors. During design development, the exterior design was revised from a combination of metal siding and precast concrete to a predominantly precast concrete system, increasing the durability of the truck storage and cold storage areas. The new facility will replace aging infrastructure, including a power department building that has served the City for more than 100 years.
