As growth continues rapidly in the Northeast part of Sioux Falls, SD along Highway 11, Fiegen Construction completed another monumental project for Sanford Health and Lewis Drug. Located at the intersection of E. Madison Street and Veterans Parkway (hence, MVP), this new project will feature roughly 27,000 square foot of Sanford Health clinic space and 25,000 square foot of Lewis Drug Store.
Challenges were met from day one as the soil conditions were less than ideal for this large structure. Fiegen conducted soil corrections through hundreds of rammed aggregate piers in order to keep with the schedule and meet the expected completion date. From that point, it was important to manage a good job and keep everyone on task which is what Fiegen did to deliver another fantastic project.
