PEMB Manufacturing Facility
Fiegen Construction engaged in early conversations with a repeat client for the idea of a state-of-the-art truss and panel manufacturing facility, to be built in Harrisburg, South Dakota. At roughly 40,000 sqft this Pre-Engineered Metal Building included Production, Shop, Saw, Office Mezzanine, and Locker/Break Room spaces.
With the need for such a facility in the region due to high volumes of wood-framed construction, Fiegen's design/build process allowed for a quick turnaround in order to meet the owners tight deadlines. All the while, coordinating with new equipment from MiTek, communicating of all the parts and pieces of this facility were instrumental to its success. While the exterior looks like any other metal building, this project was anything but ordinary once you step inside.
